Prefix Un- and Re-

I knew from using the Journeys reading series that I needed additional center activities. The vocabulary skill this week, with Animals Building Homes, is prefix un- and re-. I spent my evening creating these center activities that I believe will drive home these two prefixes. I will post pictures next week of my babies hard at work learning. Below is a sneak peek :)

Inspirational Seuss

The reason that I love Dr. Seuss so much is the quantity of inspirational quotes that he has written. It is my dream to inspire my babies in my class like he has the world. I want to post inspiration all around so I created these red chevron posters.

Identifying a Correct Sentence

It was mid 9 week common assessment time and my students are still having a hard time identifying a correct sentence. I feel like I can't get them to slow down and look for all the parts to a sentence. I created this sort as a reteaching tool. Word Walls

I wanted to add some color to my walls so I made some word wall letters. I love Seuss quotes!!
